School of nanomedicine and cancer immunotherapy

Melomanes Fall School

We are happy to announce our School of nanomedicine and cancer immunotherapy. It will take place on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th October 2023, at Åbo Akademi University in Turku (Finland).

Our Melomanes researchers, together with invited local partners, will provide an overview of their multidisciplinary cutting-edge research. Discover how nanomedicine and novel immunotherapies are opening new roads for cancer treatments!

This event is aimed at early-stage researchers interested in getting a broad overview of these fields of research.
It is open to researchers outside Melomanes network.

Information about registration, including registration fees, will be provided by September 2023 on the website School of nanomedicine and cancer immunotherapy.

About Melanomanes

MELANOMANES has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant. MELOMANES aims to train 12 doctoral researchers for the development of a combined therapy exploiting the properties of magnetic nanoparticles to induce damage on the tumor microenvironment by magnetic and optic hyperthermia in order to facilitate the infiltration of CAR-T cells.
