Biosketch: Joris van der Veeken is a group leader at the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology in Vienna. Joris performed his PhD and Postdoctoral studies in the laboratory of Alexander Rudensky at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center before starting his research group in Vienna in the summer of 2021. The van der Veeken laboratory studies the gene regulatory mechanisms underlying T cell differentiation and function, with a strong focus on regulatory T cell development.
