Ricardo Henriques is a Principal Investigator at ITQB NOVA and an EMBO Member. Previously a professor at UCL and group leader at the Francis Crick Institute and Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência, he develops optical and computational technologies to investigate cell biology and host–pathogen interactions at the nanoscale. He is widely known for creating open-source image-analysis tools, including QuickPALM, NanoJ, eSRRF and ZeroCostDL4Mic, which have made super-resolution microscopy and AI for microscopy more accessible and reliable. He is committed to transparent, reproducible research and freely available scientific tools.
If you would like to book a 1-on-1 meeting with Professor Henriques 24-26 August (Mon-Wed), please use the reservation calendar or contact Guillaume Jacquemet (guillaume.jacquemet@abo.fi).
