InFLAMES Doctoral Module Summer Seminar
The first InFLAMES Doctoral Module Summer Seminar will be held on August 16-17 at Svartå Manor/Mustion linna (https://www.mustionlinna.fi/en/).
The Doctoral Module Summer Seminar is a two-day event for doctoral researchers and early career scientists belonging to the InFLAMES Doctoral Module. The main purpose of the seminar is to bring the Doctoral Module participants together with their peers, allowing for networking and open scientific discourse. The organized program is strongly focused on the topics of science and scientific career but the overall atmosphere of the event will remain relaxed. The participants are strongly encouraged to bond together and approach the speakers during their free time outside of the official program as well.
The keynote speaker of the event is Professor Juha Kere from Karolinska Institutet. His title is Reproductive biology: the three first days and pre-eclampsia, a mother’s enemy.
InFLAMES Visiting Professor Simon Goodman will also be there to share his wisdom . Additionally, there will be a panel discussion, a career guidance-focused session and of course posters and scientific presentations by the doctoral module participants themselves, with prizes for the best presenters.
