InFLAMES Corporate Corner – Network and Succeed
Welcome to InFLAMES Corporate Corner – Network and Succeed on Wednesday, 22 May 2024, at 11:30–16:00 followed by a networking event. The event will be held in the Cave theater of Visitor and Innovation Centre Joki, Lemminkäisenkatu 12 B.
Join us for an inspiring event where we will hear real-life success stories and experiences of business representatives and university group leaders as they share their journeys to securing funding for their projects from a diverse range of funding sources. A special focus is on EU funding and its health and innovation sectors, in which Finland is strong but warrants greater participation to fully leverage the major funding instruments.
The presenters will describe how they successfully navigated the EU and other funding landscapes. What are the best practical tips and strategies for crafting a winning proposal? Is networking and collaboration with the right partners and companies key to success? How can businesses and university researchers mutually benefit from each other’s strengths in the quest for funding? How can one manage the administrative burden, and do you need to be prepared for it?
Special Guests: We are honoured to welcome Sirpa Pietikäinen and Ville Niinistö, Members of the European Parliament, who will share their insights and initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and research funding in the health sector. At the event, you will have the opportunity to engage them directly and bring your pressing concerns and ideas to the forefront of the discussion.
The event starts with a lunch at 11:30, followed by the official programme and culminating with a networking afterparty from 16:00 onwards. More details on the programme will be updated soon!
