CellCom seminar: Emma Andersson
When: September 25 (Thu) at 16-17
Where: Auditorium Biology (Biocity 2nd floor, lab side)
You are warmly welcome to join Biocity Turku Cell Communication Research Program seminar by associate professor Emma Andersson.
Dr. Andersson will give a seminar on the molecular mechanisms that guide the acquisition of cell identity and organ architecture, as well as how genetic mutations lead to developmental defects. Her lab has developed several novel molecular and biological tools to study RNA interference, genetic disease, and organ system-specific lineage segregation. Dr. Andersson is an associate professor at the department of cell and molecular biology at Karolinska Institute, Sweden, a docent in developmental biology as well as the scientific manager and director of the ultrasound-guided nano-injection facility Infinigene.
Coffee, tea, and pulla will be served at 15:45. The seminar is hosted by Prof. Cecilia Sahlgren (cecilia.sahlgren@abo.fi).
