 s. For any questions please contact (inflames@utu.fi).\n\nJanne Lehtiö ha
 s MSc degree in biochemistry from Helsinki University\, Finland and PhD in
  engineering (biotechnology) at Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm
 \, Sweden. Post the PhD\, Lehtiö worked a few years in biotech industry i
 n USA and Europe\; and obtained his postdoctoral experience in cancer rese
 arch at Karolinska Institutet. In 2009\, Lehtiö got his assistant profess
 or (docent) merit at Karolinska Institutet and obtained the faculty Profes
 sor position 2015. Since 2006\, Dr. Lehtiö was appointed as director of t
 he Karolinska University Hospital’s clinical proteomics facility. Curren
 tly\, Janne Lehtiö is leading a research group of 30 persons at the Depar
 tment of Oncology-Pathology\, KI. He has supervised 15 PhD students and 17
  postdoctoral fellows. Lehtiö has a formal university teacher education a
 nd is currently lecturing in four graduate programs at KI and is a frequen
 t lecturer at other Swedish universities and internationally.\n\nDr Lehti
 ö’s major research interest is in improving human proteome analysis foc
 using on precision cancer medicine. Lehtiö has 139 peer reviewed original
  publication and together with his group\, he has published number of nove
 l methods for proteome analysis\, multi-omics and cancer research applicat
 ions in leading journals. The Lehtiö-group’s current proteogenomics res
 earch focus is on lung and breast cancer as well as on a newly started pro
 gram on particular childhood and adult leukaemia.\n\nLehtiö has also vast
  experience on research infrastructures\, from heading core facilities and
  national infrastructure initiatives to expert assignments in the field of
  technology driven life science. In 2014\, he was selected as one of the n
 ational research infrastructure fellows by The Swedish Foundation for Stra
 tegic Research. Apart for his Scientific Director position in Swedish nati
 onal bioscience infrastructure\, SciLifeLab\, Lehtiö also serves in steer
 ing board of large national SciLifeLab and KAW Data Driven Life Science (D
 DLS) program\, board of directors in Karolinska Comprehensive Cancer Cente
 r and scientific advisory boards for national infrastructures in both Finl
 and (Biocenter Finland) and Norway (NOPI).
