 leading expert in extracellular vesicle (EV) research. As Chair of the Dep
 artment of Genetics\, Cell-\, and Immunobiology at Semmelweis University\,
  her work has significantly advanced the understanding of EVs\, particular
 ly their role in immunological processes. Her research focuses on the isol
 ation and characterization of EVs and their functional relevance in health
  and disease\, emphasizing their potential as biomarkers and therapeutic t
 ools. Prof. Buzás has played a pivotal role in shaping the field of EV r
 esearch\, contributing to standardizing EV measurement and elucidating the
 ir immunomodulatory mechanisms. Her groundbreaking findings have been reco
 gnized internationally\, and in 2022 she was elected President of the Inte
 rnational Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV).
