 speaker:\n\nAna Cvejic is Professor at the University of Copenhagen and Gr
 oup Leader at the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Centre (BRIC)\, De
 nmark. Her pioneering research lies at the forefront of molecular hematolo
 gy\, with a particular focus on the molecular mechanisms governing blood s
 tem cell fate decisions. Bridging molecular biology\, genetics\, and syste
 ms biology\, her work uniquely integrates cutting-edge experimental approa
 ches with large-scale multiomics data analysis. Professor Cvejic obtained 
 her PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol before undertaking 
 postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge and the Wellcome Sang
 er Institute.\n\nIn 2012\, she was awarded a prestigious Cancer Research U
 K Career Development Fellowship\, which enabled her to establish her indep
 endent research group at the University of Cambridge\, where she led her l
 aboratory from 2012 to 2022. Her outstanding contributions to the field ha
 ve been widely recognized through numerous honors\, including the European
  Hematology Association Young Investigator Award\, the EMBO Young Investig
 ator Award\, and election to EMBO membership. She is also the recipient of
  highly competitive grants\, among them the European Research Council Star
 ting and Consolidator Grants\, the Novo Nordisk Foundation Young Investiga
 tor Award\, and the Danish National Research Foundation Chair Grant.
