 erests are in biomaterials for regenerative medicine\, particularly Biogla
 ss related materials. His team's work on inorganic/organic hybrids has pro
 duced tough and flexible bioactive scaffolds suitable for tissue engineeri
 ng applications. His research group's research interests involve the devel
 opment of strong porous scaffolds for regenerative medicine\; porous mater
 ials for minimally invasive diagnosis\; tough sol-gel hybrids\; therapeuti
 c nanoparticles\; processing of glasses\; bioactive materials\; sol-gel ch
 emistry\; protein adsoption to nanotextured materials\; cell responses to
