 ri Paasonen from UPM Biomedicals will be giving a talk about his work and 
 career. The lecture will be on February 28 at 2 pm in BioCity Ministeri le
 cture room. Coffee\, tea and pulla will be served on-site.\n\n\n\nAbout La
 uri:\n\nLauri Paasonen is an application scientist in UPM Biomedicals\, He
 lsinki\, Finland focusing on in vitro 3D cell culture product and applicat
 ion development. He has a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences from the Univer
 sity of Helsinki\, Finland\, 2010. Before joining UPM on 2014\, Lauri work
 ed as a post-doctoral researcher in drug development at Sanford-Burnham Me
 dical Research Institute and at the University of Helsinki.\n\nUPM Biomedi
 cals is the forerunner in producing high quality nanofibrillar cellulose f
 or life science and medical applications. It is part of UPM.
